David Everhart

Everhart grew up on a farm just north of Topeka in the small town of Hoyt, Kansas. After graduating high school he went to the University of Kansas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering in 2001. David is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kansas with Latimer, Sommers and Associates, P.A. in Topeka where he serves as a partner with the firm. On a daily basis he is involved with project management and design of building mechanical, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems as well as construction administration through the duration of the project. The types of projects that David works on vary widely from educational, institutional, retail/multi-use, commercial and multi-family. In 2009 I became qualified as LEED Accredited Professional and have been involved with several LEED projects as well as other energy conservation type projects. I currently serve as treasurer for the local chapter of the Illumination Engineering Society and on the Kansas Preservation Alliance Board.
