Patrick Zollner, Ex-Officio
Patrick Zollner was appointed executive director of the Kansas Historical Society in March 2023, after serving as acting executive director from July to December 2022. Since joining the Historical Society in 2004, Zollner has held roles including Cultural Resources Division director and deputy State Historic Preservation officer. Previously, he served on the Kansas Preservation Alliance board and was a preservation consultant and vice president of the Arkansas Historical Association. A native of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Zollner holds a magna cum laude bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Arkansas.
