Join Our Board
The Kansas Preservation Alliance was founded in 1979 as a non-profit advocacy organization for the preservation of our built history throughout the state. We are run by a board of directors made up of executive positions and committee chairs. The board meets quarterly and we include ‘ex-officio’ members at these meetings from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Board members and general members both sit on committees to further increase advocacy and education in the following areas: Advocacy, Awards, Communications, Endangered Places, Membership, Properties, and Sponsorship.
If you are interested in becoming a board member, please contact information@kansaspreservationalliance.org for more information.
